Adoption

I have worked in adoption for over 15 years. I am also an adoptive parent. I have worked with both the foster care system and private domestic adoptions. I have supported all members of the adoption triad (birth parents, adoptive parents, and adoptees) and seek to make safe spaces to explore all the feelings and emotions expressed during the adoption process. I have also assisted clients on search and reunion with birth families. I work closely with adoptive parents on talking with their children about their adoption story. My expertise in adoption includes transracial adoption and working with families on understand their role and commitment when adopting transracially.
